Our Laoshan teas are grown by the Liang family, who have a small family operation growing tea and doing all the processing of the tea themselves. The tea is grown in a greenhouse in the winter and in the earliest part of spring until the leaves begin to sprout. At this point the covering is removed, and the tea continues to grow in the natural sunlight. Our Classic Laoshan Green is first a flush flush tea, picked in April.
