From the legendary tea fields of Uji, Kyoto—the birthplace of Japan’s finest matcha—comes Uji Matcha Celestial, a tea that embodies centuries of craftsmanship. The entire process, from shading and hand-picking to sorting and grinding, is done entirely by hand, following strict traditional methods preserved by master tea artisans.

The tea bushes are shaded for 25–30 days before harvest, allowing the leaves to develop a deep, savory umami and their signature vivid green colour. Only the youngest spring leaves are carefully selected and stone-ground into an ultra-fine powder. The resulting matcha is smooth, bright, and delicately vegetal, with notes of wheatgrass and a clean, uplifting finish.

With its rich body and perfect balance of sweetness and depth, Celestial is exceptional for both usucha (thin tea) and koicha (thick tea)—a distinction reserved for only the highest grades of matcha.
