Our Laoshan teas are grown by the Liang family, who have a small family operation growing tea and doing all the processing of the tea themselves. The tea is grown in a greenhouse in the winter and in the earliest part of spring until the leaves begin to sprout. At that point the plants are opened to the natural daylight until harvesting time. Our Classic Laoshan Green is first flush flush tea, picked in April.
