Origin: China This tea is picked from an early-Spring harvest high in the mountains of Simao. As it has slightly larger leaves than other green teas, it retains some distinct characteristics and a bolder large-leaf taste. This tea is high in tannins which give it a rich vegetal aroma similar to a Japanese tea, with a strong "umami" flavor which coats the mouth and throat. Great for multiple infusions.
